Happy New Year!
It’s the customary greeting, and of course we wish happiness for our friends in 2024. However…
Perhaps you and I seek something beyond “happy” as we enter a new year. It could be many things, I suppose, but I’m thinking about writing stories, following paths, with purpose.
Too easy, I think, to drift into a new day/week/year and follow the same old path. No thought, just same-old-same-old.
This isn’t about old-fashioned resolutions that most likely fade in a few weeks. It’s about being aware and choosing with purpose rather than gliding on autopilot.
Me? I want to more consistently write chapters that make me a bit more like Jesus.
