An Unexpected Trail

One of the big lessons we’re learning on this ride is that apparent adversity often leads to unexpected joy.

That happened today between Winona and La Crosse.

That was a great trail!! Good things keep happening for you Rich and Becky and Monte. I dont suppose its too hard to find the adversity out on this journey and its always turning into good stuff for you. Keep it up, Jim and Sharm

    Rich,

What an amazing treat it was to ride this stretch with you. I rode that trail as a kid and spent countless days fishing at the Dresbach Lock & Dam where you came out at the end.

Glad you had a chance to enjoy the river. Great bit on WKBT too by the way. My dad spent many years at WXOW in La Crosse. Guess I should have tried to set up an interview there too, not that they would know me from Adam.

    Ride on. Dream on.

    Clark

What a nice departure from the usual roadways. It looks as if you handled the poorly maintained trail quite well.

Where do you think you’ll be on Sunday, October 2? Mary Ann and I will be crossing the Mississippi in the Quad Cities area about mid-morning, but if you’ll be anywhere close we’d like to see you.
