Our little project is gaining momentum.
A friend asked this weekend how it felt to see my dream turning into a snowball as it rolls downhill. It’s exciting and frightening. I’m reminded of the admonition to be careful what you wish for …
It’s amazing to watch as this once tiny speck of a dream attracts an ever-growing circle of supporters. You are remarkable, and I can’t really express how much it means that so many folks are already touched by your love.
The ride begins three weeks from today. Becky has a list of a million things that need to happen before we leave. Speaking opportunities are appearing as folks catch the vision and make contacts for us.
I’m still training, though it’s about to the point that I’m either ready or I’ll find out I’m not. I can’t wait to see how the routes work out, whether our logistics make sense, and what unforeseen opportunities and obstacles we’ll encounter.
