Who Cares?

I’m grateful for people who care.

It’s a lot easier to not care, to look away, to pretend the needs aren’t there. Not caring lets us off the hook. We don’t have to do anything.

Caring means a chance to be involved and make a difference, a chance to contribute.

I’m grateful for you because you care enough to read my words. I like to think, over the long term, we’re making a difference together.

I’m grateful for those who support the kids at the Home of Hope. They are changing the lives of children who were destined for sexual slavery, and now have an opportunity to live in freedom.

The young woman in the photo is heading off to college rather than a brothel. That’s the sort of difference made by people who care.
