It’s hard for me to stay out of arguments.
Some arguments, anyway, about things that matter. When I hear things that are so clearly wrong and hurtful, it’s really hard to turn away.
I admire those whose stand against injustice, who put their reputations and sometimes their lives on the line for what true and right. I want to be one of them.
And yet, it’s clear that joining every argument is pointless. I admire those who seem to find the wisdom that helps them know when to walk away and when to stand firm.
I confess – that wisdom often eludes me.
I tried to make a list of principles – Three Rules To Know When To Argue And When To Leave.
Then I read this note from Jon and wondered if I’m making it too complicated.
Maybe I should focus on the FREEDOM TOUR and seeking justice for 22 kids rescued from human trafficking.
Maybe I should do what Jesus did.
