What Happens When We’re Done?

Well, we’re not done.

As I reflect on the wonderful experiences of FREEDOM TOUR 2018, I can’t escape the nagging notion of not-done. Women and children are still trafficked. Millions still labor under the yoke of modern-day slavery. The HOME OF HOPE still needs our support.

Ending this horror is a huge task. Our little project won’t do it. Easy, in the face of an enormous evil, to become discouraged.

We’re told in Micah 6:8 to Seek Justice, Love Mercy, Walk Humbly.

Seek Justice

No command to end worldwide injustice, solve the problem, finish the job. That, apparently, is God’s job.

You and I don’t have to do it all. But that doesn’t mean we can turn away and do nothing. “Seek Justice” means we are supposed to do something, to do what we can, where we are, with what we have.

As I summarize a year of cycling and fun, I need to hear that reminder. I need to remember that we didn’t finish the job, and likely never will. But we did something.

We’ll keep going, because our kids still need our support to grow in hope and freedom. We’re already planning FREEDOM TOUR ’19. Maybe you’ll join us.

Last time I shared our 2018 COLORADO MOUNTAIN TOUR Video. Here’s an opportunity to travel with the FRONT RANGE TOUR team. Enjoy!
