I get to spend most of this weekend talking to a lot of people about riding bikes in warm summer weather.
As we plan FRONT RANGE FREEDOM TOUR ’14, it’s fun to anticipate what God’s got in store for this year’s team by looking back at the 2013 ride. I sincerely hope you’ll consider joining us.
It’s tempting to recall the fun, laughter, and joy we experienced. Certainly that’s a big part of what I remember, but the back of our team jersey reminds me that there’s a serious cause behind our efforts. This is a good deal more than a bike ride. We’re supporting kids rescued from human trafficking–more about that on Friday.
However, we did have our share of fun. The 2013 team included folks literally from coast to coast. Somehow, we actually managed a team photo without Monte.
We didn’t spend ALL of our time posing for pictures. There actually was a fair amount of actual cycling involved.
Of course, at the end you have to celebrate.
And always there’s HELMETS UP, a reminnder of the God that makes all of this possible.
Friday will bring some specific ways you can get involved in this project. I hope you’ll join us.
It’s gonna be a blast!
