Challenged By My Own Question

Yesterday’s question challenges me.

“When is inactivity complicity?”

It’s clear – you and I cannot fix the world. Jesus will accomplish that task in his time.

But he did invite us to join him in bringing the kingdom right here and right now. Sitting back and waiting isn’t an option.

Certainly, we cannot do everything. But I’m challenged by Jesus’ invitation to follow him and confront injustice.

He sacrificed everything.

At what point does I can’t do it all become an excuse for not doing all I can?
