The FREEDOM TOUR team is working hard on a response to the obstacle we encountered.
They’re coming up with some creative ideas. The brand-new Freedom Tour Classic should be ready to roll out in a few days, and I’m actually kind of excited about it.
Recently, one of them said, “You know, it’s possible God might use this obstacle to lead us to something even better.”

Well, yeah. Why didn’t I think of that?
I was so busy worrying and trying to control what I can’t control – too busy to consider that our plan might not be the best thing ever conceived.
I’m being a bit sarcastic. But only a bit, because it’s awfully easy to become convinced a plan is perfect and any deviation is a tragedy.
How many times have I written here that God sees a bigger picture? How many times have I assured us that Jesus knows where he’s leading, even when it makes no sense to us?
I used to think learning about Jesus was something like stacking up blocks. You learn some stuff, then build on that to learn some more stuff. And maybe it’s a little like that.
But so often, I’m back to the ABC’s and he’s re-teaching the basics.
For example – it’s just possible God might use an obstacle to lead me in a better direction.
Possible?
