Last time I said handcycling had become more about results than process.
A reader gently reminded me that perhaps I was being a bit short-sighted. I appreciated the conversation and an opportunity to look deeper.
We can’t know, on this side of eternity, the long-term results of our efforts. We do what we can, with what we have, with what’s in front of us, the best we can, and then trust God for the outcome.
Life is long term because God is long term. Of course we ought to seek worthwhile immediate outcomes like supporting the kids at the Home of Hope. But we’ll never truly know what Jesus does with our efforts.
We live by faith, not by sight.
