After four glorious days of cycling, Colorado Mountain Tour has concluded.
The team cranked more than 240 miles and climbed 18,000+ feet, but those numbers don’t really capture what the tour was about.
This year’s team put a special emphasis on the Hope Rocks, sharing them with people we met along the journey, using them as conversation starters.
Sometimes the conversations were about human trafficking and the kids at the Home of Hope. But sometimes they were an opportunity for someone to tell their story. Perhaps someone was struggling with an illness or a loss, and we had a chance to share the struggle and even pray with them.
We probably handed out a few dozen hope rocks, had a few dozen conversations about the tour and our kids and other stuff. Who knows where those conversations will lead?
We don’t need to know.
Jesus will use our efforts, often in ways we’ll never see or understand.
We don’t need to see or understand.
We do our best, and trust Him for the outcome.
