You and I don’t see the world the same way.
It’s just a fact, but it’s really hard for me to remember. Sadly, I spend a lot of time and energy feeling critical toward those see things differently.
Another, more accurate way, to say this is that I struggle with being judgmental.
I don’t like admitting that because it’s kind of one of the central things Jesus cautioned against.
So… what’s the point of publicly declaring this shortcoming?
First, I’m committed to being honest in my writing. I’ve never tried to filter out the junk just to make myself look good.
Beyond that, though, I have a feeling I’m not alone. I might not be the only person who tends to think critically of others just because they see the world differently.
If so, this is an opportunity for us to reflect a bit, maybe commit to listening more and judging a little less.

When I look around this circle of FREEDOM TOUR riders, I don’t see our differences. I see a group of people committed to a common cause.
I need to do that more often in more areas of my life.
