All the packages, parties, and decorations, the food, the travel, the family gatherings, the decorations, the expectations and disappointments…all of it is because of that simple event more than two thousand years ago.
The Light Of The World became a humble servant, and invited us to follow Him.

Christmas, for me, is a reminder that books and armies and human bureaucracies will always miss the mark. Joining the right group, buying the right stuff, or thinking the right thoughts isn’t what it’s about. They’re distractions.
