In the TV show Ordinary Joe, Joe encountered a fork in the road.
He had three choices, leading to careers as doctor, cop, and rock star. The show explores What if?
I’ve spent a fair amount of time wondering what if I’d decided to do something other than Christmas lights on a certain day in 1987. I’ll bet you have a time or two in your life about which you wonder What if?
It might be an interesting fictional premise, but in real life a backward-looking What if? is a waste of time.

Much more useful to ask What if? as we look forward. I’ve compiled a few What if? questions for the FREEDOM TOUR.
What if we didn’t settle? What if we insisted on excellence, truth, justice? What if we refused to compromise? Every time.
What if we focused more on what’s important and less on what’s urgent? What if we refused to succumb to the tyranny of short-term pleasure and popularity?
What if we acted like we believe what we believe? What if our behaviors showed that we took Jesus’ words seriously?
What if it works? This plan, this dream, this crazy idea – what if it actually works? Are we ready for the consequences?
What if hope really does change what’s possible? It’s a catchy slogan, but what if it’s true? What if “a confident expectation based on faith that God keeps His promises” really does change what we can achieve?

I’m sure you can add to the list. Here’s why it matters.
We have some big dreams, some outcomes we would like to achieve.
I wonder if it’s possible that acting on these What-if’s might actually move us toward those outcomes.
