I used to look forward to fall.
School starting. New students, new beginnings. A clean slate, a chance to try those new lessons. For a teacher, fall was the time for a fresh start.
Now, it’s different. Fall means the end of warm weather and outdoor cycling. It means trying to maintain some fitness on the handcycle on an indoor trainer for a few months.
It means the end of another FREEDOM TOUR season, so fall is also the time to look back and celebrate.
Objectively, FREEDOM TOUR 2021 was our biggest year. 198 cyclists cranked more than 67,000 miles and raised more than $62,800 for the kids at the Home of Hope. We also partnered with Project Rescue’s global Hope & Freedom Challenge to raise an additional $100,000.
The FREEDOM TOUR, of course, is about much more than numbers. We’re a community following Jesus’ invitation to seek justice.
I can’t capture in a single post the generosity, commitment, and sacrifice that made FREEDOM TOUR 2021 so remarkable. I invite you to take a few moments to read our 2021 FREEDOM TOUR REVIEW (https://frontrangefreedomtour.org/2021-review/).
This demonstrates what happens when a group of committed, passionate people work together and trust God for the outcome.
