Community Conversations With Jesus

Part 2 of a series about how I’m talking to Jesus about the COLORADO MOUNTAIN TOUR. Part 1 here.

I love it when our team prays together. I love the community and the unity.

Praying together over time is such a bonding experience. Especially for folks with such a broad range of experiences and backgrounds, prayer affirms that we’re united by faith in what truly matters. Sometimes after a long day, with heads bowed and eyes closed we say what might not be said at another time.

When I struggle, it’s comforting to know others are concerned for me. However, I also believe Jesus is laser focused on me and my thoughts, even if I’m the only person in the world with a particular concern. I don’t need to recruit a group of 10 or 5,000 “prayer warriors” to get His attention.

If these thoughts seem a bit disjointed, it’s because they reflect the way I talk to Jesus. I don’t compose and edit my words – conversations between friends aren’t like that.
