I’m not an influencer.
When the Kardashians publish a video or use a product, it’s an instant sensation. Millions of views, tons of comments. When you’re an influencer, it seems like everyone wants to be in on the act.
I’m not going to move the online needle. Sometimes that’s a bit frustrating. I have absolutely no desire to be a Kardashian, but it would be cool to post a FREEDOM TOUR video and have millions of people get so passionate about it that they share it and encourage their friends to jump in. I don’t care if they pay attention to me, but I’d love to generate that sort of passion for the kids at the HOME OF HOPE.
I wish I could toss out a puppy video and inspire people to support our kids for a year. So far I haven’t found the magic formula. Oh, well. I may not be an influencer.
But I do have influence. So do you.
Jesus never asked me to have a million Twitter followers or raise hundreds of thousands of dollars. Those are my goals.
He asked me to follow. To love mercy and walk humbly. To seek justice and trust Him for the outcome.
Maybe I ought to focus on doing those things, and invite you to join me.
