Last time I suggested serving might be better than helping.
I’m thinking about the kids at the HOME OF HOPE. I don’t want to help them, because helping implies some sort of superiority. We’re not better, bigger, or stronger.
I hope we’ll all agree to serve them.
Those kids are precious children of God. Every single one of them matters more to Jesus than you and I can imagine. The Servant King held them in His hands and cared for them long before you or I or Project Rescue showed up.
It’s a beautiful image. I don’t know how it works, but I’m humbled by the invitation to be part of how He seeks justice for them.
I really hope you’ll join the HOPE & FREEDOM CHALLENGE. It’s a worldwide virtual walk/run/ride you can do in your own neighborhood. It’s free. You pick your start date and your goal. Your miles will make a real difference as you help raise awareness about the horrible crime of human trafficking.
We’ll provide an APP where you can track your miles and follow the team’s progress. It’s a fun, easy way to be part of God’s big story of justice.
