It’s time to look forward and to look back.
Year-end recaps and New Year’s resolutions are the big thing. Yesterday I talked about remembering to be grateful. I thought of some other things I want to remember.
I want to remember to be kind. Kindness is a priceless gift that costs me nothing.
I want to remember the power of words, to always use words that heal rather than harm.
I want to remember to ENcourage…to share courage with those who need it.
I want to remember to trust more and worry less.
I want to remember that I’m here to give, not to get. Blessed to be a blessing wasn’t just a catchy tagline.
I want to remember to think long-term, because following Jesus is long-term.
Those are a few things I want to remember about 2016.
But that whole election thing? Can we just forget it ever happened?
