We’re surrounded–and it’s a good thing.
We’re surrounded by love, hope, faith, and generosity. FRONT RANGE FREEDOM TOUR is a community, because that’s the only way something like this happens. I never stop being amazed by the power of a community to follow and accomplish big dreams.
We all know about big-time corporate sponsors. They hope, in the long run, to benefit financially from their association with a cause, person, event, or idea. But that’s certainly not the case for our corporate sponsors, because we’re not a huge foundation with an enormous following. Nobody’s getting wealthy based on their exposure to our audience.
Our sponsors are here because they believe in community, because they caught a vision and wanted to be part of it. They’re here for what they can give, not for what they get. I hope you’ll join me in thanking these folks.
Roger Hageman (Hageman’s Earth Cycle) and Greg Yancey (FSA Loveland) are men with big hearts, generous spirits, and passion for God’s vision of justice. They care about the mission of the FREEDOM TOUR and the kids at the HOME OF HOPE, and they’ve both been great personal supporters for Becky and me. We’re proud that they’ve returned as DREAM SPONSORS of this year’s tour.
VERAFIN is a Canadian company with a heart for community. They support us because of a connection with one of our cyclists.
BEST RENTAL and Ron Nebilsek are old friends and first-time sponsors. Ron will also join us for part of the ride.
NORTHERN COLORADO Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is a big name for long-time friends and supporters Rick and Irene Felton. Irene’s a 3rd-time FREEDOM TOUR cyclist.
These are our 2016 FREEDOM SPONSORS.
MARKLEY MOTORS and BREEZE THRU CAR WASH joined us in 2016 as JOURNEY SPONSORS. We’re glad to have them in the circle.
Our sponsors are successful business folks, but they get that life’s bigger than business. They model the notion of doing well so you can do good.
These folks understand the long-term value of generosity and community. They understand that they’re part of something bigger than themselves or their business. I’m grateful they chose to step into our circle.
They’ve taken Jesus’ love and reflected it into their communities.

We’re into our final two weeks of training. As our team prepares their hearts for this journey, we’ll think a lot about the 22 kids who are at the center of this whole thing.
I’ve said this before, but it’s worth repeating: these are children, and we want for them what we want for children everywhere. We want them to learn and grow and run and play. We want them to grow into the men and women God designed them to be. We want them to be safe.
We want them to know Jesus.
Amen, Rich….amen.
