Solving that problem requires fixing a broken world; that’s God’s job, and He’ll accomplish it in His time. So what’s that point of doing what we do?
The work of the FREEDOM TOUR is to be light in dark places, to be a sign of the hope that exists in even the blackest shadows. By bringing freedom to 22 kids we show it’s possible to set things right. We show the power of love.
Jesus brought together a small community of friends and spent three years showing them His way of living. Then He asked them to become a sign of what was possible.
He never asked them to solve problems like world hunger or war. He asked them to change lives, one at a time, by demonstrating the overwhelming power of faith, hope, and love.
Seek justice. Love mercy. Walk humbly. (Micah 6:8) Those can lead a diverse community to reconciliation, harmony, and peace. It’s a path to changed lives. It’s a sign of hope in a world that desperately needs it.
