Do you remember Charlie Brown?
Every year when baseball season began he gathered the Peanuts gang, grabbed his cap and glove, and headed for the diamond, convinced that this year would be different. The cap was essential because it was the team uniform. In Charlie Brown’s words, “If you’re part of a team, you gotta suit up!”
Well, FRONT RANGE FREEDOM TOUR ’15 is a team, so we need to suit up as well. We’ve been working with Pactimo to design our 2015 jersey. It’s a lot of fun watching it come together. If you look closely you’ll see we’re still messing with some final color and design choices, but we’re pretty pleased with the results.
What most pleases me is the message. Each time a rider cruises down a bike path or cranks along a street, others will be reminded that this horrible crime is a reality in every community.
In addition, every jersey purchase supports the kids at the HOME OF HOME. You exercise, you look great, you proclaim a great message, and you help kids.
I know you’re thinking these are so cool and you just gotta have one. I can help you with that.
Of course the best way to get a jersey is to join the FRONT RANGE FREEDOM TOUR ’15 team. You can ride for a week or do the One Day Prologue. Check the website for more details.
If you can’t ride with us, you can still sport your jersey and support the kids. Click the ORDER button below and we’ll get one shipped to you. (Can’t see the ORDER FORM? Click here)
We couldn’t do this without a community that helps us spread the message. We already have a few generous community sponsors whose logos will be displayed on the back pocket. Would you like to add your company’s? Send us an email for details about our community sponsor program. Deadline for jersey design is April 15.
Charlie Brown knew baseball wasn’t about caps or uniforms. We know the FREEDOM TOUR isn’t about jerseys or bikes.
It’s about a community and a cause and 25 kids. These jerseys are one fun way to make progress on what we’re really trying to do.
Plus, they look cool. If you’re part of a team, you gotta suit up!
