HAPPY MONDAY!
A weekend of great conversations brings us today’s word-of-the-week…
TOUCH
We spent a big part of the weekend talking to people who might want to do this summer’s 500-mile FRONT RANGE FREEDOM TOUR. I came away with a profound sense of the opportunity God provides for us to touch people in remarkable, unexpected ways.
We met an incredible array of people–experienced cyclists and those who didn’t own a bike; those who were confident and those who clearly wanted encouragement; some who know Jesus well and some who’d like to get to know Him on a bike trail.
I don’t know how it works, how the right people end up at our table. I know God’s involved, prompting folks to take that step into an unknown and maybe uncomfortable place. And I know for some folks just walking up to the table is a big step.
I have no idea if we say the right things. I just hope we never take those opportunities for granted.
It’s Monday. Keep an eye open…God’s giving each of us an opportunity today to touch someone.
