I love questions, but I like them better when someone else is asking.
I’ve been asking a question for a few months. Basically, it’s about the direction RICH’S RIDE ought to take as we move into 2015 and beyond.
I’ve learned that answers to those sorts of questions tend to come slowly. They don’t show up carved on stone tablets. You have to keep asking and listen carefully to the people you trust. If you pay attention, you start to see patterns emerging.
God seems to speak to me a lot through other people, or the stuff I read. Then I’ll encouter a familiar passage of scripture that reveals something I’d never seen before.
In a conversation over the weekend, I think the fog lifted a bit.
I’d prefer a quick response. I’m sure we could gather a team, do some strategic brainstorming, and come up with a plan in a few days.
But this is a big choice. In some ways, it’s likely the last big “professional” decision I’ll make. For some reason, I sense God telling me to hang out with Him and give Him a chance to show me what’s going on.
Honestly, there are times when I get pretty discouraged. My depression takes over and tries to convince me it’s hopeless and we’re going nowhere.
I’m doing my best to trust. I could use your prayers. This is where the platitudes end and the real stufff hits the road.
HOPE changes what’s possible–right?
