Want to end world hunger, stop human trafficking, or wipe out poverty? I wouldn’t know where to begin.
But feeding a hungry child? That’s pretty simple—you provide some food.
Hal Donaldson, co-founder of Convoy Of Hope, tells of meeting Mother Teresa in the early 1990’s. She asked him what he’d done to help the poor, and he admitted he hadn’t done a lot. When he returned home, Hal and his brothers started gathering food and distributing it to folks in need.
Twenty years later, Convoy Of Hope has served more than 67 million people. They’re the primary source of nutrition for 146,000 kids in 11 countries. They’ve distributed more than $440 million worth of food and supplies.
They haven’t ended world hunger. They simply gathered food and gave it to hungry people.
It’s not that complicated.
We’re proud to partner with this remarkable organization. Our generous supporters will help them feed a handful of children. For those kids, their efforts will change the world.
On our tours, we don’t make a big deal about fundraising. Instead of asking for dollars, we often simply respond to “How can we help?”
When you talk about hope and following God-sized dreams, folks naturally want to be part of the story.
