One of the coolest aspects of bike touring is traveling slow on less heavily traveled roads. You get the opportunity to notice things.
Woody is a noticer. He sees stuff the rest of us pass by, and takes time to stop and look and snap a photo so we can enjoy it later and wonder why we diidn’t see it.
I thought you might enjoy a few snapshots of Front Range FREEDOM Tour through Woody’s camera lens.

When you’re cranking along a lonely stretch of country highway, a small-town water tower is often the first welcome sign of civilization.
Sometimes, though, one tiny town looks just like all the others unless you take time to look around at the little things. I didn’t see any of these things in the town of Nunn, where we ate lunch on Day 1. Wonder what else I miss along the way?
Who needs an art gallery when you can find this kind of creativity everywhere you travel?
We saw all three of these signs on the same day. Wanna play a game of “Which one doesn’t belong?”
Almost there! John Denver, anyone?
Signs like this always make me wonder. Jim obeyed, but am I really supposed to get off my bike and walk?
Who knew they got their own space?
Some things need to be noticed, but you kinda wonder if you need a picture to remember them.
And some things need no explanation at all.

Thanks so much for your wonderful comments Rich!!! I got my “take a picture of everything” habit from my wonderful Dad so I’m trying to carry on his tradition!!!
