This started as the kind of Thanksgiving post I thought I was supposed to write. I guess I let myself get sucked in occasionally by some self-imposed set of expectations.
For some reason I had this idea that a Thanksgiving message “should” have a particular religious message. I don’t know where crazy stuff like that comes from. The last thing I want to do is write a trite, canned, religious message.
So I deleted what I thought I was supposed to write.
Fact is, I do feel incredibly thankful—for you, for the circle that’s formed around this blog and RICH’S RIDE. I appreciate your support, kindness, and encouragement.
We’re getting ready to release pre-order information for the new book. Plans are moving fast for Florida Hope Tour 2013. It’s exciting and overwhelming and a ton of fun, and none of it would be possible without you.
We shouldn’t need a special day to remind us to be thankful. But since we have one, I’m not passing up the opportunity, even if It doesn’t come with a heavy dose of religious rhetoric.
Thank you.
I hope you and your family enjoy a blessed and peaceful Thanksgiving.
