One of the curious aspects of writing a blog is tossing words out into cyberspace without knowing who will read them. The conversation often feels one-sided. You learn a lot about me, but I often don’t know much about you. As we embark on the next chapter of this adventure, I’d like to tip the scales a little.
So I’m asking two questions today, and I’d appreciate it if you’d answer one or both by leaving a comment. I’d like to start a dialogue that can continue as this next ride begins.
#1: Who are you? Tell me a little about yourself, where you live, how you connected with RICH’S RIDE, and perhaps what you’d like to see on the blog.
#2: What’s a “can’t miss” in the DC area? We plan to spend a few days following the ride, and we’re not familiar with the city. Aside from the obvious stuff, what’s something really cool that we absolutely HAVE to see while we’re there?
Let’s talk.

Hi Rich,
Just catching up on past devo’s. You know I’m in Wisconsin waiting for you to come and ride with one of our cheesehead hats on. 🙂
How long are you going to stay in DC? As you said, you can spend a week on the mall seeing all the museums, Capitol, White House, etc.
You might find the National Cathedral worth the tour.
My favorite spot is Great Falls Nat’l Park. The MD side would be better for you. It’s definitely on my “don’t miss” list.
oh yeah …and I found you on the old Christians With Disabilities Website. 🙂
Rich,
You know me. I am connected with you and your lovely wife because I had the great fortune to meet her elsewhere. You are both an inspiration to me. Keep following God as you are leading others while you are following. The Smithsonian is a must do. Many Blessings,
JEannette
Hey Jeannette…always great to hear from you. I hear it takes several days to see all in the Smithsonian, but we’ll take our best shot.
From Oklahoma. Saw your story online and have been following along ever since!
Hi Kier…and what a pretty name! Glad to have you along. I need to figure out a ride that’ll take us through your part of the country…when it’s cooler!
