I don’t know about you, but I begin this new week in a very real battle with today’s word-of-the-week…
TRUST
Ever notice how much easier it is to talk about trust than it is to do it?
I began thinking seriously about RICH’S RIDE in January. I thought about the logistical issues, the problems we might encounter, the obstacles we would need to overcome. I knew there would be unanticipated challenges.
I told myself it was God’s project, not mine. I said I’d trust Him to provide and make it happen according to His plans. And I meant it.
The ride begins four weeks from today. The issues, problems, and obstacles have appeared and been resolved. About a million things remain incomplete.
I’m struggling not to panic. I want to trust God’s plan, though I can’t always perceive it. Several times each day I remind myself that it’s not MY project.
I tell myself to trust God.
For me, it’s a whole lot easier said than done. How about you?
