We’re in recovery mode this morning.
It’s a good feeling, looking back, tearing down, wrapping up. Lots of stories still to be told, but today I want to leave you with images of the team’s climb of Raton Pass on Saturday.
We began with our final HELMETS UP as a reminder of the One in whose name we ride.
All week these folks rode as a cohesive team, and this was never more apparent than on this steep climb about halfway up the pass–a single orange line cranking up the hill supporting and encouraging each other.
After nearly 500 grueling miles, they still had the strength to hoist their bikes high before the final climb.
The smiles at the top speak for themselves.
And the journey concludes as it began–before a WELCOME TO COLORADO sign.

Wow, that is quite a climb, you all did a fantastic job! For these kids who have made such a large change as to move out of the district, I think that seeing strangers working this hard for them has to be confirmation that they are in a good place.
