A simple question prompts today’s word-of-the-week…
NEED
“How do you know the people you help really need it?”
I’ll bet everyone who works with any sort of compassion or humanitarian effort has heard that question. It’s valid. People scam the system, look for a free ride. No question about it. If you become known for helping, some folks will take advantage.
But the answer to the question is, “I can’t always know. I do my best, but mostly it’s a matter of trust.”
If I trust my ability to judge and control, I’ll get the results I create. If I trust God’s wisdom, I’ll get the results He creates.
