Happy Saturday!
Last weekend I met with some folks from TOP END company. Top End makes hand cycles and wheelchairs; they’ve generously offered to sponsor a portion of my bike ride project.
At their booth I also met Paul Schulte, who invited me to watch him play basketball. It’s not every day that a guy in a wheelchair issues that sort of invitation, so Becky and I experienced our first wheelchair basketball game.
With apologies for video that’s not quite up to ESPN standards, I thought you might appreciate a brief sample. No jump shots or dunks, but a couple of crashes and a three-point shot. Also the first time I ever heard a foul called for bumping with a chair in the act of shooting.

Have a great weekend!
