Happy Monday! I hope your week’s off to a great start. Maybe I can help a bit with today’s word-of-the-week…
Simple
Do you ever feel like you make things harder than necessary?
I’ve written about this before (Complex Simplicity) but I want to revisit it this week.
Life is complex. No doubt that there are seasons when issues come at us at warp speed from unexpected directions.
But I think I add to the clutter. I think I add layers of complication. I impose my own rules and expectations, take short-cuts, and fail to remain focused on principles.
Principles are clear and unambiguous. Following them is difficult, but life is a lot simpler when I do.
So this week I want to re-look at my principles and see where I’m making things unnecessarily complicated. I’m convinced that it’s simpler than I imagine.
I’m honored to be a guest author today at 300 Words A Day. Check it out–it fits with this week’s theme of SIMPLE.
Where do you add levels of complication? What principles might help you simplify?
