Special Saturday Music

Some of you may not know that Rich’s Ride has an official theme song.

Even better, our friend Kristin Orphan and her incredible band allowed us to use their recording of  Martina McBride’s “Anyway” (from their CD) to promote our new book.

I’m posting it today because I needed to be reminded:

You can chase a dream that seems so out of reach
and you know it might not ever come your way.
Dream it anyway.

God is great, but sometimes life ain’t good,
and when I pray it doesn’t always turn out like I think it should.
But I do it anyway.

I thought maybe you needed to be reminded, too.

Please visit Kristin’s site, learn about the amazing work of Finally Home Foundation, order a CD, and support the important cause of orphan care.

After my Friday journey between Titusville and Orlando, we’re 180 miles into the journey.  Tomorrow I’ll complete the ride into Orlando and get beyond my 200-mile weekly goal.

The GPS appears to be functioning again. Got a late start this morning because the new unit didn’t want to play nice with old software. But Becky convinced them to be friends.

Monday Morning we’ll speak to Sunrise ARC which serves developmentally disabled adults in Leesburg. Sounds like they’re inviting the whole town and folks from several partner agencies, so we should have fun. Still have a couple of possibilities percolating for Sunday, but if nothing works out it might be for the best since my voice sounds like I gargled with a bottle of Comet cleanser.

Next week–we’re taking our talents to South Beach!

Check out some photos from day 1.
